How to connect YouTube

- 02Sign in with the Google account that owns your channel and approve upload access.
- 03Choose YouTube as a destination in the composer, add your MP4 or MOV, and publish or schedule it.

Does it publish Shorts or full videos?
Both. Distinctful uploads one MP4 or MOV of up to 60 minutes and 10 GiB, and YouTube decides whether it appears as a Short. Videos longer than 15 minutes and custom thumbnails need a channel that YouTube has verified.
When does a post count as published?
Only after YouTube finishes processing the video and confirms the visibility you chose. If YouTube does not confirm it, Distinctful marks the post as failed so you can check the video in YouTube Studio.
What happens when I disconnect?
Distinctful clears its own access first, cancels scheduled YouTube posts, then asks Google to revoke the token. Videos already on YouTube stay there, and you manage them in YouTube Studio.
Which YouTube terms apply?
Uploads use YouTube API Services, so the YouTube Terms of Service and Community Guidelines apply to every video, and Google handles your data under the Google Privacy Policy.
