How to connect Bluesky

- 02Open Settings in Distinctful, go to Integrations, and choose Bluesky.
- 03Enter your handle and the app password, then choose Bluesky as a destination in the composer.

Why does Bluesky ask for a password when nothing else does?
Because Bluesky does not offer the delegated sign-in flow the other channels use. An app password is the mechanism Bluesky provides instead. It is created inside Bluesky, it is not your account password, and it can be deleted there at any time without affecting your login.
Is my app password stored safely?
It is encrypted at rest, the same as every other integration credential Distinctful holds.
What happens when I disconnect?
Distinctful clears the stored credential. You can also revoke the app password directly in Bluesky, which cuts access off at the source.
