Can Distinctful send or change anything in Beehiiv?
No, and that is enforced by the permissions rather than by policy. Every permission Distinctful requests from Beehiiv is a read permission. It asks for no write access of any kind, so creating, editing, deleting, and sending are impossible with the access you grant.
Do I need a Beehiiv API key?
No. Beehiiv connects through its own sign-in page using OAuth, so no key is ever pasted into Distinctful and you can cut off access from Beehiiv at any time.
What happens when I disconnect?
Distinctful clears its own access first, so disconnecting never waits on Beehiiv, then asks Beehiiv to revoke the token. Posts you already published keep their history in Distinctful.
How complete is the subscriber data?
Distinctful shows what the Beehiiv API returns for your account. Coverage depends on your Beehiiv plan and what their API exposes, so treat it as a strong picture rather than a guaranteed complete ledger.
Does it cover paid subscriptions?
Yes, where Beehiiv reports them. Each subscriber comes across with their tier, and each edition carries the free-to-paid upgrades Beehiiv attributes to it. That attribution is Beehiiv’s own reporting, so Distinctful can show it without guessing.
