Connect Stripe to Distinctful
Keep the checkout you already trust. Lose the blind spot.
Stripe stays your processor and your source of truth for money. What the connection changes is where the numbers are legible: products, prices, and sales activity appear next to the content promoting them. Distinctful reads what Stripe reports and does not create charges, issue refunds, or modify anything in your Stripe account.
What connects
- Products and prices, which become the offers you organize in Distinctful
- Sales activity from checkout sessions and invoices, as Stripe reports it
- Subscriptions and their items, for offers billed on a recurring basis
How to connect Stripe
- 01Open Offers, select Connect, and choose Stripe.
- 02Choose the Stripe account whose products and revenue should appear in Offers, then approve the read-only permissions.
- 03Return to Offers and wait for the initial product and revenue sync to finish.

Questions
Can Distinctful charge my customers or issue refunds?
No. The connection reads products, prices, subscriptions, and sales activity. It does not create charges, refund them, or change anything in your Stripe account.
Do I paste in a secret key?
No. Stripe authorizes through its own flow, so Distinctful never holds a key you typed in, and you can revoke the connection from your Stripe dashboard.
What happens when I disconnect?
Disconnecting in Distinctful removes stored Stripe access, hides Stripe-synced Offers, and removes active source links while retaining historical revenue. This does not uninstall the Distinctful Stripe App. Remove it separately from Stripe Installed Apps if you no longer want it installed.
Does Distinctful read accounts connected to my Stripe Connect platform?
No. Distinctful reads only the Stripe platform or account that installs the app. Downstream connected accounts are not included.
Will this show me which post led to a purchase?
No, and Distinctful will not pretend otherwise. It shows what Stripe reports about offers next to what your other tools report about content and readers. Reading across them is the point; a causal claim is not something the underlying data supports.
