What is Thread?
A sequence of connected posts that reads as one piece, letting a longer argument live on platforms built for short posts.
A thread is a sequence of connected posts published as one unit, letting an argument longer than a single character limit live on platforms built for short text. The first post carries the whole thread: it is the only part most people see, and it decides whether anyone reads the rest.
Good threads are written as threads, not chopped from paragraphs. Each post holds one idea, survives out of context when quoted, and hands momentum to the next. The mechanical part, splitting cleanly at the character limit without orphaned half-sentences, is exactly the kind of work a tool should do.
