Evergreen content

Content that remains useful beyond a news cycle because it addresses an enduring question or problem.

Evergreen content explains subjects that stay relevant over time, such as how to structure a newsletter or understand a metric. It differs from a news update whose value depends heavily on timing. Evergreen pages can still need maintenance when tools, examples, or terminology change.

A guide to writing a clear introduction can be reused across newsletter editions and social posts. A guide to a platform’s current posting limits needs more frequent checking because those limits can change.

Evergreen does not mean publish once and forget. Review the page when its facts change, replace broken references, and update examples that no longer help readers. Last-updated dates should reflect substantive work rather than an attempt to make unchanged content appear new.
