Search engine optimization (SEO)

Improving a website’s content and technical accessibility so search engines can discover it and people can find useful answers.

Search engine optimization helps search engines access, understand, and present web content. It includes clear page titles, crawlable internal links, relevant explanations, and technical choices such as canonical URLs. The underlying page still needs to answer the reader’s question.

A glossary page about newsletters can explain what a newsletter is, show a realistic example, and link to related concepts such as an email list or welcome sequence. A public newsletter archive can make selected editions available as web pages that search engines can crawl.

Publishing a page or listing it in a sitemap does not guarantee indexing, rankings, or traffic. Avoid creating several near-identical pages for slight wording variations. Email-only content is not a public searchable web page unless an accessible web version also exists.
