How to give a proven post another run
Your best work should not scroll into the archive after one day.
A post that worked has already been validated by the audience, and almost none of them saw it. The Posts feed keeps every published post beside its performance, so finding the work that earned a second run takes minutes instead of an archive dig.
Steps
- 01Open Posts and sort through what you published, with views and engagement beside each post, to find the work that earned a second run.
- 02Open the composer and rewrite it as a fresh draft: keep the idea that worked, sharpen the hook, and adjust the framing if the moment has changed.
- 03Schedule the run on the Calendar for a time your audience is active.
- 04After it ships, compare the platform-reported metrics for the second run with the original in Posts.
Worth knowing
- Reposting the same words verbatim gets diminishing returns. Rewriting the hook while keeping the idea usually performs better.
- If the post supports something you sell, an Encore CTA on the offer can follow the new post automatically after it goes live.

Questions
Is reposting bad for reach?
Not inherently. Most of your audience never saw the original, and networks do not penalize you for revisiting an idea. Verbatim repetition is what gets stale.
How do I know the second run worked?
Compare the platform-reported metrics Distinctful syncs for both posts in the Posts feed. Distinctful does not measure outbound clicks.
How often should I rerun a proven post?
There is no rule. Most operators pick a handful of genuinely strong posts rather than recycling everything.
