Deliverability
The ability of email to reach recipients’ inboxes, influenced by reputation, authentication, list quality, and filtering.
Email deliverability concerns where a message ends up and whether a recipient can receive it as intended. Delivery is narrower: it usually means the receiving server accepted the message. Accepted mail can still go to spam rather than the inbox.
Sender reputation, authentication, recipient feedback, and list quality all matter. Sending providers offer authentication setup, but a sender using a custom domain may need to configure and maintain DNS records. A verified domain alone does not guarantee inbox placement.
Investigate changes using bounce reasons, complaint signals, authentication checks, and available provider reporting. Opens alone are an incomplete diagnostic because privacy features and image loading affect whether an open is recorded.
